This Privacy Policy explains how Asia Weighing ("Asia Weighing," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit asiaweighing.com, submit an inquiry, interact with one of our advertisements, or contact us through a WhatsApp link. We do not sell personal information.

1. Information we collect

Website inquiry and request-a-quote forms

When you submit a form, we may collect your email address, WhatsApp or phone number, country, product interests, quantity, requirements, the page from which you submitted the form, and any other information you choose to provide. We also process limited technical and security information, such as an approximate country, session identifiers, submission time, and privacy-preserving hashes used for spam prevention, rate limiting, and duplicate detection.

Google Ads lead forms

If you submit a lead form shown within Google Ads, Google collects the fields displayed on that form and provides your responses to us. Depending on the form, this may include your name, email address, phone number, company, country, product interest, and message. Google's own privacy terms also apply while you use its services.

WhatsApp links

When you use a WhatsApp link on our website, we may record that the link was selected, the originating page, selected product interests, approximate country, campaign attribution data, time, and security identifiers. If you continue to WhatsApp, WhatsApp processes your account information, message, phone number, and related communications under its own privacy terms. We receive the information you send to us in the conversation.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising data

Our site uses essential cookies or similar storage for security, form sessions, and your privacy choices. We may also collect the referring page, pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, approximate location, browser, device, operating system, language, IP-derived information, and advertising identifiers or campaign parameters such as GCLID and UTM values.

With consent where required, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure website use and Google Ads tags to measure ad performance, attribution, and conversions and to support advertising audiences. Google may use cookies and similar technologies in providing those services. We do not intentionally send the text of inquiry forms, email addresses, phone numbers, or full IP addresses to Google Analytics 4.

With your permission, we use Microsoft Clarity to understand page visits and improve site usability. Clarity may collect interaction data such as clicks, scrolling, page views, device and browser information, approximate location, and session-replay data. Inquiry fields and WhatsApp message fields are masked from Clarity, and sensitive input content is not intended to appear in replay recordings.

Depending on applicable law, we process information with your consent, to take steps at your request before entering a business relationship, for our legitimate interests in operating and improving our business, and to comply with legal obligations.

3. How we share information

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the site, manage inquiries, deliver email, host or secure data, analyze usage, prevent abuse, and measure advertising. These may include website and database hosting providers, email delivery providers, Cloudflare (including Turnstile), Google (including Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads), Microsoft Clarity, and Meta or WhatsApp when you choose that channel. These providers process information on our behalf or under their own applicable privacy terms.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate misuse, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of business assets. We do not sell personal information.

4. Data retention

Website inquiry and WhatsApp source records are generally assigned a 365-day retention period. First-touch campaign attribution stored on the site may be kept for up to 90 days. We may retain business correspondence, quotations, and transaction records for longer when reasonably necessary for follow-up, contractual, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, security, or legal purposes. Analytics and advertising data is retained according to our settings and the applicable provider's policies. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to technical backup cycles and legal requirements.

5. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including access controls, secure hosting, anti-abuse checks, masked analytics fields, and privacy- preserving hashes for certain security functions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. International processing

Asia Weighing operates from China and serves customers internationally. Your information may be processed in China and in other countries where our service providers operate. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from those in your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information; receive a portable copy; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; or complain to a privacy or data-protection authority. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Some rights may be limited by applicable law, identity-verification needs, or our legal obligations.
